About
Even as a young child, Nancy was drawn to animals. Whether they were large or small, animals were always her passion, and this passion led her to an almost 30-year career as a zoo keeper. It was during her time as an animal keeper at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona, that she invented her bee-proof, drip-free hummingbird feeder design.
In the years since creating her first basic design, Nancy has gone on to create hummingbird feeders that are true works of art. She works primarily in copper, and often includes found and natural objects, fused glass, and torch-enameling to make unique, beautiful yet practical, pieces. You can find her selling these unique pieces at art shows around the Southwest.
